Aaron's Baptism

A big thanks to everyone who was able to come and support Aaron at his baptism. It was a really good day. Kory was asked to give a talk on the Holy Ghost and even though he doesn't like to be in the spotlight
(unless it involves sports) he did a great job. Arrie was asked to preform a musical number while we waited to go into the font room and did a wonderful job. (Thanks Amberly for sharing your musical talents and playing the piano for her) We had his confirmation on Sunday in church and it was another nice day with those who could come. We love you all so much and we are happy you shared this special day with us.

Movie Time

We went to see the new Indiana Jones movie on Thursday. I have to say that it was very true to the series. If you liked the old ones you should like the new one. There are plenty of cheesy one-liners and more action than plot. It was fun. Arrie now is in love with Shia LaBeouf.
Today we went and saw the new Narnia. It didn't follow the book very closely but it was entertaining. It's rare we have time any more to go see movies but these were two worth watching.

On Friday and Saturday Kory was in a baseball tournament. He lost both his games on Friday and was able to win his second game on Saturday. They were all close games and his team played really well.
It's been nice because I took Thursday and Friday off work and we are closed today. It will sure be hard to go to work tomorrow.

Aaron's 8th Birthday

Happy birthday Aaron. I can't believe my baby is 8 already. He is really happy because he got the rip stick he really wanted. Robert made him breakfast burritos for breakfast and then we went out to eat at Tepanyaki for dinner.

Arrie's Choir Concert

Arrie had her choir concert tonight. She did well. She does think she looks crazy in this picture so I had to share it with everyone.

Grandpa Horsley

Last Monday my dad had surgery to remove his cancer. It made it a little extra crazy around our house. I was able to ditch work on Monday and hang out at the hospital with my mom and my sister-in-law Sarah. I was able to stop by twice a day because he was so close to my house. He is recovering well from his surgery and the best part is he went to the doctor today and they got all the cancer. What a blessing we have with modern medicine.

RiverCats Luau

We had our fund raising Luau last Monday. It was a good time. We were able to earn enough money for some baseball tournaments and so we can do some fun things for the boys. Thanks to everyone who came and made it a fun night.

Aaron Starts Baseball

Sorry it took me so long to blog. Life has been a little crazy. Aaron has started his baseball now. He has had three games and is undefeated. He's having a great time.
