Kory's busy day

Yesterday was all about Kory. He had a book report in the morning. The book report was on "The Call Of The Wild". He wanted to take our dog Payja so that he could talk about how he would feel if the same thing happened to her, so I took her to school in the morning with him.

Then the school had a "Fun Run" as there fund raiser. The kids ran 2 miles around the school. Kory and Aaron where so excited to participate. They both ran the whole thing.

Then Kory's class had "market day" after lunch. In class they earn "bonus bucks" for doing homework and doing the other things that they are supposed to do. You also loss bonus bucks if you don't do all your homework or forget to do the things you are responsible for doing. Four times a year the teacher has market day where you can pay money to be a vendor and sell things to your classmates. It teaches the kids a little about business and marketing. Kory got to be a vendor this time and he sold snow cones. So I went to help him make snow cones too. It is really a lot of fun.

Then his class had there first "super activity" at night. The super activities are for the students that get there assignments turned in and do all the things they are supposed to in class. I got to drive for this one. We all had to dress up and then we all went to Doc's pizza for dinner. After dinner we all went to Comedy Sports. It is an comedy group in Provo. It was really funny. They were having there Halloween nights this weekend and so lots of people were dressed up. The group is very family friendly and keep everything G rated so it was fun for all the kids. It was a really fun night.

Today Kory has a make-up baseball game from the Labor day tournament that his team played in. They advanced to the final round but then they got rained out so we are finally making it up. So it's been a great weekend for Kory.
