Happy Veteran's day everyone. If you forgot it was Veteran's day until the mail didn't come or you couldn't go to the bank don't worry that always happens to me. Sadly it's not a holiday I think much about most years, but this year turned out different.
This year the boys school had a program to honor veterans and Aaron was singing with the choir. He asked his Grandpa Hernandez to come (his Grandpa Horsley was serving at the genealogy center). After singing some songs the boys got to introduce Grandpa Hernandez. He was the only veteran who had served in WWII. It was so toughing hearing the music and seeing the men who came to be recognized. I have to admit it helped me really appreciate the men who have served our country over the years.
This is Grandpa Hernandez when he served it the Navy in WWII

That was amazing that Roberts Dad got to go and be recognized. How great that was for your boys.

Lydia: Check my blog and see a picture of your Grandpa Barney in his uniform. He was so handsome. Thanks for remembering the veterens. Auntie
Wow! That's really cool. Thanks for sharing that.
